Canary Wharf Yoga Teacher
Susanna is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance UK specialising in teaching one-to-one. She has trained in the art of teaching one to one with Kate Ellis and yoga for emotional balance with Bo Forbes, and has gone on to assist Kate with a future training and continues to have her own one to one yoga sessions.
Having experimented with different types of yoga since 2000, and attending tai chi classes for nearly ten years, Susanna is now focused on a style of yoga which is highly responsive to the needs of the individual. Her sessions are based on sensible alignment, using some traditional and not-so-traditional poses to generate a sense of integration in the body. She aims to encourage her client to tune in to the physical sensations that arise and notice areas of tension or numbness in the body. Susanna aims to create a friendly and light rapport with the client, deciding together what to work on and allowing plenty of space for feedback.
In her life outside of yoga, Susanna has had a fifteen year career advising business on sustainability and continues this work in Canary Wharf. She understands working life in a corporate context and how important it is to find time to reconnect with yourself at some point during the week.
Susanna is particularly interested in working with women with busy lives who may struggle to make it to a regular yoga class.
