Concept of Ayurveda

Activities in our body are controlled by 3 basic components called Vata, Pitta and Kapha. These three in harmony maintains the physical and mental health status of a person. ‘Vata’ initiates, regulates and co-ordinates all types of physical and mental activities. ‘Pitta’ is responsible for digestion, metabolism chemical transitions and anger levels. ‘Kapha’ gives both mental and structural stability to the body. Every healthy individual has a unique balance of these three components. Abnormal changes in this balance leads to discomfort or disease.   Ayurvedic Treatment aims to  re-establish the healthy unique balance.
